Helping homeowners exit underwater properties.
When the housing bubble burst in 2007-2008, the landscape of Arizona real estate changed dramatically. Since we had performed our first short sale in 2002, we were ahead of the industry in being able to assist those who had lost their jobs, seen a reduction in pay, had a medical issue, etc. short sell their homes.
Now that several years have passed, the dynamic has changed. Homeowners who are capable of making their mortgage payments are realizing just how underwater their homes are, and are wondering what their options are. We are still surprised to hear that so many homeowners are unaware of the implications of The Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act that expires December 31st, 2012.
Default on Purpose works with homeowners who may not have a traditional hardship find the best possible exit strategy. Since every situation is different we provide legal counsel so we can inform you of every option available and choose the appropriate strategy that is best for you.
